With Febreeze costing nearly $5 or more nowadays it make sense to make your own. It’s fairly simple to make and once you learn you’ll be like “Why didn’t do I this sooner.”

For those that don’t know what Febreeze is we will explain. Febreeze is an amazing product that you can purchase at just about all retail stores and it helps to eliminate odors on your carpets, and fabrics. They even have a Febreeze that takes the nasty smells out of the air.

But we will tell you how to make the one that you can easily spray on your carpets, cloth furniture, clothes and just about anything with fabric.

Making your own Febreeze will save you a lot of money. So let’s get started on how to make this amazing product so you can have your home smelling clean and fresh.






Homemade Febreeze
Before we can completely get started you will need to know what materials are needed to make your own Febreeze. Most of these materials you may already have on hand.

Supplies


  • Very large bowl


  • Empty spray bottle or recycled Febeeze bottle


  • Funnel


  • Ingredients


  • Baking Soda


  • Liquid Fabric Softener


  • Water


  • How to Make Homemade Febreeze
    Follow these easy steps to make your very own homemade Febreeze.

    Step #1 – Pour ¼ cup liquid fabric softener into your large bowl.
    Step #2 – Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and mix well.
    Step #3 – Add 2 cups hot water and mix well. Make sure the baking soda is completely dissolved.
    Step #4 – Pour mixture into empty spray bottle or recycled Febreeze bottle with funnel.
    Step #5 – Shake bottle really good.

    And that’s it! You will need to shake the bottle each time you use the Febreeze to keep the mixture well mixed. Now take your homemade Febreeze and freshen your home.
