Save With Lemons

  • Eliminate Odor – Pour lemon juice over your hands to eliminate the smell of bleach and other cleaning supplies.
  • Microwave – To give your microwave a good clean simply place a bowl of water and lemon slices inside. Heat for 5 minutes and let stand for about 3 minutes then remove. Use a soft cloth to wipe clean.
  • Cutting Board – To remove stains from your cutting board simply sour some lemon juice on the stain and let sit for about 20 minutes. Then rinse in warm water.
  • Glass Cleaner – Simply take some lemon juice and use directly on the glass surface with a soft cloth.

  • Blonde – A great way to lighten your hair is by using lemon juice. Pour lemon juice in spray bottle and spray on hair for full coverage. Or simply cut lemon wedges and rub down section of hair for strikes.
  • Fluff Rice – Simply add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice for every quart of water when cooking rice. It will make the rice fluffier.
  • Stings – If you’re ever stung by a wasp, hornet, or bee simply rub the area with some lemon juice to help ease the pain.
  • Sore Throat – Add 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix well and heat in microwave for about 20 seconds. Drink mixture to ease your sore throat.
