  • Keep Drinks Cold – By applying salt to the ice in your cooler it lowers the freezing point of the water which allows your beverages to become colder quicker.
  • Put Out That Fire – Keep salt handy near the stove. If you ever encounter a grease fire simply toss some salt on it to help extinguish the flame.
